Essay Map
Using the Study Task Handout, construct an essay map outlining the FOUR main points of your argument.
This essay map should include a sentence which states your thesis, and how it will be addressed. It should also include FOUR sentences, each outlining a different element of your central argument.
You should also refer to how this essay map links to the key sources that you have highlighted and the example(s) of Graphic Design practice.

I completely disagree with this task. A lot of these cop exercises seem to be created on the fact that there is only one correct way to write an essay. It is a very modernist approach to working and I am not saying it is incorrect. However I am saying it is not necessarily needed and is definitely not the only way to write an essay. I prefer to just start after studying the question through thorough research, and then to keep on adding and redrafting. This systematic, planning approach is not my style and I cannot work this way when it comes to writing essays.
